Richard founded small ventures in 2023 with the goal of partnering with entrepreneurs to capitalise value early on in the business life cycle. Keeping the long run objectives of the business in mind, his unique approach allows founders the freedom to work confidently towards their business goals.
Richard’s career started in Canada where he worked for one of the largest asset management firms as a business development advisor partnering with investment brokers and retirement planners in western Canada. He later moved to Vancouver where he worked at a boutique investment bank where he advised business owners on exits. Richard relocated to London in 2021, where he now works in the deal advisory group in the big 4 working on infrastructure asset restructuring and cost optimisation.
